By now most of you have heard about the shooting that took place today at University of Texas in Austin. A student opened fire on-campus causing panic. The student was later killed in the library by his own doing. The school issued out an alert using both text, email, and a message on its webpage. Students also posted many updates on Twitter and other social networking sites.
Over all this was a tragic event and one that is very scary; but things could have been worse.
